My story
My name is Linda, and I work in Helsinki as a nutritional therapist and solution-focused brief therapist. Like many others, my own health journey was the main reason I returned to studies in my late thirties and built a new professional path.
In the spring of 2020, I was diagnosed with a gut-related illness that significantly changed my everyday life. The situation felt new and overwhelming, and I realised how much I needed knowledge, understanding, and more holistic support. I wanted to understand what was happening in my body – and how I could support my wellbeing despite chronic illness.
This led me to study nutrition at Suomen Terveysopisto Salus. The studies quickly became a passion, and the idea of my own practice took shape. I wanted to create the kind of space I myself had needed: a safe, calm, and confidential setting where each person is met as a whole.
Today, I combine nutritional therapy and solution-focused brief therapy, as body and mind are deeply interconnected. Many challenges – such as digestive issues, blood sugar imbalance, fatigue, stress, or weight management – involve both physical and psychological aspects.
My approach is based on in-depth conversations, understanding each person’s background, and offering individualised guidance. The client defines their goals and wishes – I act as a professional guide, supporter, and companion along the way. My work is gentle, practical, and realistic, without pressure or strict rules
